Independence Day for Lesotho

This past Wednesday (Oct 4) was Lesotho’s Independence Day! Touching Tiny Lives celebrated by holding a netball tournament at a primary school in Malefiloane. There were about 7 teams there from 7 different schools. The day was full of netball (obviously), singing, cheering, and dancing! We provided plenty of snacks for all of the students and it seemed like they had an amazing time! The weather was also in our favor, it began to storm right after the tournament ended.

There were three winners of the tournament and each winning team received a trophy, first aid kits, balls, ball pumps, and new uniforms! This is all thanks to our incredibly kind German donors from Gummersbach. They have funded other projects for TTL such as our Happy Beaks chicken program. We are so happy that bo Klaus could be here in Mokhotlong with us for this past week, their support allows us to do so much good!
